I bought the OME 885 coils and paired them with bilstein 5100 struts at the lowest setting. I have a 2wd v6 with no additional weight in the front and I got 4.5″ of lift over my previous stock ride height not including new tires. I was able to clear 285/70/17 trail grapplers with this which are true 33×11.5 unlike many 285/70/17. I am very pleased with the look of my 4runner and the front is perfectly level with the superflex rear coil springs which I got 2.5″ of lift from. Very good quality.

What year of 4runner do you have?
Cos im planning on doing OME 885 ( setting the bilstein at lowest perch ) and toytec superflex 2 inch.
      How was the ride?

I have added a winch with synthetic line and a semi-hidden bumper to my 4Runner so I ordered the medium load spring and Nitro Chargers. This provided a full 3” of lift as advertised. The ride is firmer, speed bumps are still smooth, and no more brake drive. OME says 50mm lift but it would take a lot of weight to get that low.

ordered the 885’s paired with bilstein 5100’s to replace the old worn out XREAS suspension that came on my 06 limited. no more brake dive or wobble over bumps on the highway. off road test to come soon.

  1. Answered by the admin For TRD PRo we can offer https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/front-lifts-and-coilovers/1-front-lift-baja-trd-toyota-tacoma/ These coils need longer shocks to be used
  2. Answered by the admin Any lift coils are not for use with stock length shocks. You'll need longer shocks https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-4runner/2010-2018/shocks-2003-2012-toyota-4runner/front-0-2-5-adjustable-lift-shocks-2010-2016-toyota-4runnerfj-cruiser/
  3. Answered by the admin Hello, in order to figure out how much lift you need to level please take existing measurements from center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender. Difference between front and rear is how much lift you need to level. https://prntscr.com/gfgxwt
  4. Answered by the admin on the bottom clip adjustment (stock) it'll give you 2'' of ift, on the 1st clip - slightly bigger then 3'' Going higher is not recommended - can b harmful for the suspension
  5. Answered by the admin They will give you the same 2'' of lift, but they will be quite stiff without additional weight. 884 are recommended without additional weight
  6. Answered by the admin These coils may be used with Bilstein 5100 series height-adjusted shocks, but only the lowest clip are recommended to be used. Please note that using them with 4cyl models will give you more lift then for the trucks with v6 engine.
  7. Answered by the admin Yes, the 884, 885 and 886 coils will work for Tacoma
