OVERVIEW:

ICON Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. The Stage 1 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring an internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3.5” of lift allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD/PreRunner Stage 1 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt.

    4. I have a 2015 Tacoma Sport crew cab 4x4 Im sticking with the factory size rims that are TRD Pro look alikes and running BFG KO2's 265/70/17s. I just want a minimal lift maybe 2" and not leveled. I don't want to have to change anything involving the geometry. Will I need to with a minimal life like this? My ride is great, I just want to improve off-road ability much like the TRD Pro's have done. On the right track?

    6. I am wanting to buy this kit and just lift the front to level out the truck. Will I be able to run these shocks in the rear with the factory leaf springs or will they be too long? I plan to eventually run them with the Icon 1.5" rear leaf pack.

    12. Will these work with a 17×9 inch wheel with 275 70 17 tires?

Q Will these work with a 17×9 inch wheel with 275 70 17 tires? answer now
A We haven't tested this installation by ourseves. Heres what manufacturer says about tire fitment: Wheels: 8″ – 9″ Wide Wheel With 5″ Backspace Aftermarket Tires: 33 x 11.50 Tall Tires (Larger Tires May Fit but Fender Trimming and Modifications will be Required) When using non-standart wheels we always recommend test fitment first. Also the customers say that adjusting front wheel chamber to 0 and castor to 2-2.5-less then 3 degrees may improve the fitment and decrease tire rubbing in hard cases, but it is individual for each truck with its'own driver side lean and so on, so will need adjustment in each case individually.
A It should work but the backspace of the wheel will be critical to minimize the amount of trimming that will be required to keep the tires from rubbing. We recommend a wheel with 4.75” of backspace but no more than 5”.
