I bought these to compliment the 1.5″ lift if the front of my 2013 Tacoma with the 5100 Bilstein adjustable front shocks. Looks good with the added height and larger tires. Leveled out nicely. Really easy to install. Took a litte over an hour with a couple of car jacks.

Cracked after less than a year! The AAL performed nicely as far as lift height and suspension go, but was very disappointed to find that it cracked in half – right through the middle, where the bolt hole is. Apparently these aren’t worthy for any off-roading.

installed on a 2017 tacoma, I left the stock over load on and it netted me 2.5″. I was hopping for 1.5 but maybe it will settle out of lift. the center pins it coms with are not good steel be carful putting them in or you will strip off part of the threads.

  1. Answered by the admin longer shocks needed * * * https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/shocks-05-15/toytec-boss-rear-shocks-2005-2014-tacoma-00-06-tundra/
  2. Answered by the admin It will depend on your truck exxtra weight but basicly it meant 1.5'' lift for 1st gen Tundra and 2'' rear lift for Tacoma.
  3. Answered by the admin It is not recommended to stack lifts - you can gain more then 3'' of lift which is recommended to acheive without other modifications. Also the comfort may get worse, especially on an empty truck. The alternative is using this * * * https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/1995-2004/rear-lifts-95-04/12-solid-steel-axle-shim-for-toyota-tacoma/ * * * or this * * * https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/rear-1-5-inch-block-kit-includes-u-bolts/ * * * but plese keep in mind towing heavy trailers is not recommended with the blocks.
  4. Answered by the admin If your 87-95 Pickup or 86-89 4Runner has 3.25" ID rear Ubolts, this kit will not fit your vehicle.
  5. A No, stock Toyota shocks are not designed to extend that far. There wouldn't be enough cushioned retraction before the shock topped out.
  6. Answered by the admin Yes, il will work.
